In order to provide his clients with quality advanced run coaching, Shane uses his clients’ historical running data to analyse their training load in his own self-created core running training diary, within Google Sheets. With this data, he can spot trends, areas where his intervention may make instant improvements and identify possible solutions for reducing injury risk and improving future performance.
Shane asked me to automatically populate his core running training diary with his clients’ data, and then enable him to view different metrics, often against more than one run per day.
Now, Shane simply needs to ask his clients for some of their running data and the spreadsheet will do the rest. This gives Shane time to analyse the output and design training plans for his clients, instead of manipulating the data beforehand.
